About MORENIKE

Morenike is a contemporary artist whose work explores texture, natural colour tones, and subtle line work inspired by her Nigerian heritage. Born to Nigerian and German parents, she grew up immersed in both cultures before moving to Canada, and now creates from her studio in Dubai.

Her art reflects a delicate balance between tradition and modernity, weaving understated cultural motifs into compositions that are accessible and resonant for a global audience. 

Through layered textures and nuanced lines, she seeks to evoke emotion and connection, honoring the textures and narratives woven into each piece. Morenike’s practice is guided by a belief that art can bridge cultures, spark curiosity, and transform personal heritage into a universal language of creativity.
